Sjoerd Bruil's first solo album under his own name consists of two long tracks inspired by the painting "Cacator Cave Malum" by artist Matthieu Ronsse. The music was written and recorded during February of 2021 and first released in May as a deluxe boxset along with a book and other parafernalia. And now, finally, there is a regular vinyl LP edition, limited to 200 copies on a creamy gold-coloured platter that weighs 180 grams. Download-code included for all you modern kids.

As Ronse states in the liner notes:
"An Exchange piece between Sjoerd Bruil and MR. SB visited the studio of MR to take with him a painting that he would reimagine as the music of this record. Oil on canvas becomes grooves in wax."
